Piu is a school aged country boy in Utah. He has always been dreaming to have some pets, a dog, a cat, or a dog and a cat.
On a sunny Friday afternoon in the Spring when Piu came home from school, his mom told him there is some surprise. "Oh, what is it?", Piu is eagerly looking for it around the house.
"Listen c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y...", his mom said. Still, Piu did not find the surprise. His mom then led him to a box downstairs. "Wow!!! So many chicks!" Piu exclaimed.
Chicks, chicks, chicks! There are eight chicks in the box. They are cuddling together, a little frightened as well as a little curious looking at Piu. "Oh yeah, I have eight pets now and they are all mine!" Piu claimed and his mom nodded smiling.
